Yes. Approximately 90% of the time, we use butterfly needles because they can provide a more comfortable and controlled blood-draw experience, particularly for patients who prefer a smaller needle.
Turnaround times vary depending on the laboratory, the type of test, and when your specimen is received and processed. Most results are available within 24 hours or sooner, but some specialized tests may take longer. Results are released according to the laboratory and healthcare provider's procedures.
